Today has been fantastic! I've been watching the 9/12 project where thousands of people spanned the grounds from the Nations Capital building to the Washington monument to show our government how much they want their country back. I was filled with emotion watching the patriotism and love of country displayed by so many Americans. Then I played with Preston, Kali, Noah and Heath. So at this point my day is feeling quite complete.
Then came the capping moment of the day. Ashley, Joe and Ethan came over and this darling little two year old boy stood before Grandma and Grandpa with his hand on his heart and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. It was so precious and I could not stop my happy tears!
